Studying at 'low class' university
Finally, I decide to study at UTAR, KAMPAR which is known as 'AH BENG AH SENG' university. Actually, why others will think like that is the requirement to entry is low. What I know is that although the requirement is low, the level of study is still on standard. The 'threshold' is made it higher, but we must have our qualification to jump over it... Of course, we need to study hard to achieve it's standard. I don't think that those who study in KDU, DISTED and etc. will much better than graduate in UTAR. Same thing is that, we want to get bachelor or higher academic degree. Both are same. But why should we want to get the academic degree with a lot of money?? Is it more useful to take the cert 'paper' abroad compare to local? 'US dollar' to get a 'paper' or 'RM' to get the same level, standard and qualification of a 'paper'? I think, most of the parent will take the second choice...

i totally agree with you. some jz go to expensive places for the sake of being glamourous. if you decide to study hard, you'll succeed everywhere.

hei hei hei .. who said UTAR is 'ah beng ah seng' university ? they are like the frog in the perigi if they say like tat... in Malaysia, according to the research, UTAR graduates hav the priority to find a job rather than graduates from others... of coz UTAR is a local U, and places like KDU, Disted, Taylor, sunway... probably they provide students to further in overseas thus they are commercialised !
of coz , UTAR fee is cheap, bt they shouldnt say that cheap thing isnt good... things like Hokkien TA or Laksa, they are cheap, but they taste nice too wat... compared other expensive food, i still prefer them...
so, ppl like us, not so rich 1 + not so brilliant 1, actually is very suitable to study in UTAR... if very rich 1 and very brilliant 1, of coz they get JPA to overseas liao la... still throwing hundred K in those expensive colleges meh ?! ... however... don bother wat they say lar ... do it ur way lar ... UTAR isn't a bad choice lar
